Description
i wanted to draw a child since a long time, since most of my artworks involved females!i came up with this artwork of a beautiful child...
i had kept the rough edges look as it is just for the overall effect, well it was done in a matter of couple of hours at nights as usual!

Overall an amazing pic. Just one thing: This (like the other two artworks you posted) practically *scream* "reference used"! Thats a legal technique, but please show us the photo you used. It's really hard to critic you technique otherwise.

the reason being i am totally new to painter8, just 20 days into it...
now that i have begun with a kickstart, i'd become comfortable with the application also and i dont use a tablet, just plain 3 button mouse...
sure i'll put the links to the original images some time soon...
thanks a lot for your appreciation dudes!

I think you could crop the shirt a litltle, or give it some more definition.

I love the technique. It's very oil painterly. And the lighting on her face is done quite well. For 20 days into it, you're off to a good start. Keep it up.

i have uploaded the cropped image...
now it looks better...

But the left side of her face (our right -- the side that's darker) looks a little skewed in some places, e.g. the eyebrow, the contour of the eye along the eyelashes, etc. I can't be 100% sure without looking at the reference you used, but I suspect that in the original photo, those parts are shaped a little differently.
